Bert is the founder of AltaPro Electric and has been in the industry for over 35 years. He is a Certified Master Electrician and is a pioneer in the Design Build and Integrated Project Delivery methods of construction. Bert is a true entrepreneur and innovator leading the AltaPro Team to success. He ensures his team has received lean management training including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Blue Beam. He has the expertise in his field to make decisions that will deliver value to the Architect, Engineer, Owner and General Contractor as he believes that collaboration is the best method. Bert believes that providing cost savings, providing value engineering & design are his strengths along with a team of expert field and office lends AltaPro to be a leader in the electrical industry.
Bert believes in living to his core values, and has incorporated them into his business. He gives back to community including supporting Hope Mission, Mustard Seed, Edmonton Food Bank, United Way and various other charities.

DAVID DEBRUIN, CME, PME
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
David has been in the electrical industry for over 17 years being involved in a wide range of projects from, multi-family, commercial, industrial and Solar Photovoltaic projects. David has the expertise to understand all aspects of the job from Concept to Completion. Building projects from early stages in design that flow into final commissioning of all systems has made him excel in developing cost effective designs for clients, and providing accurate budgets and estimates. David has key management skills from a PEC Designation, a course that teaches complete company management from accounting, estimating, to contract law and project management. David is managing the renewable generation portfolio for Altapro Electric, responsible for the complete design and “Turn-key” solutions for clients tailored to each site specific need. Committed to the electrical industry starting with R.A.P. (Registered Apprentice Program) at the age of 16, David is a leader in the Design Build Electrical Industry.

JEANETTE DEBRUIN
CONSULTANT
Co-founded AltaPro Electric in 1987 with my husband Bert DeBruin. In the early years performed the administration side of the business including accounting and office management solely until 2006. My position of Director and Owner provided the CFO role, COO role and currently sit on the Board of Directors and Manage the HR Department for AltaPro Electric. Over the past 34 years it is my greatest joy to manage the company along with a fantastic team. Currently dedicated to Human Resources and developing people to their full potential through the apprenticeship program and next steps for leadership training. I strive to drive a sustainable healthy culture continuously. I work collaboratively with my team to strategically build the business through an ever changing market. I was honored to receive the Alberta Women Entrepreneur 2017 “Celebration of Achievement Award.” It is great to help People achieve their goals and find work satisfaction in the trades.

JEFFREY TYSON
PROJECT MANAGER / IPD SPECIALIST
As a project manager in our Special projects division Jeffrey is heavily involved in all of our Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects. Back in 2016 Jeffrey started his introduction to IPD as a site foreman and transitioned into the office through the project. He is keen to use technologies to our advantage and believes that our industry can be leaner through the use of all things digital. He is familiar with many aspects of BIM and 3D design and construction software; Jeffrey gets excited to implement these tools onto projects. Having been in the electrical construction industry since 2000 Jeffrey has seen a lot of various installations and improvements making him well versed to adapt to new installations and technologies.
Jeffrey is also a major part of our proposal writing team and looks forward to bragging about our company’s awesome history and capabilities in the written form.
In our special projects division, we try to implement as much prefab as possible. Jeffrey’s passion for prefab and modular construction combined with BIM is the future of our construction industry and Jeffrey hopes to have more projects with amazing prefab advances in the near future.
As a member of our executive leadership team, he is always striving to find strategic ways to keep our fast-paced forward-thinking company on the crest of the construction wave and is proud to be a part of such an amazing leadership team
